Affton Spring Learn To Play
Welcome to Affton Americans Spring Learn to Play
Spring Learn-To-Play is a 10-week program run by our highly experienced LTP staff. No skating experience is necessary to participate in this program. LTP skaters will learn the basics of skating, stick handling, passing and shooting.
Ages
Affton Americans Spring Learn to Play is for first-time players age 3 to 13.
Dates & Rink
Spring LTP skates are Saturday mornings starting April 11, 2026 and ending June 13, 2026 at Affton Ice Rink.
For players who need to rent equipment, fittings will take place the week of April 6, 2026.
LTP Groups
Participants are divided into two groups:
Group 1 - Players new to skating and those that need assistance skating
Group 2 - Players who can skate without assistance
Coaches may decide to move players among the groups as they evaluate skill level. The coaches will let you know if your child is moved to a different group.
