Affton Lady Liberty Squirt A2 traveled to Minneapolis for the NCAA Women's Frozen Four and played games against area girls' teams. Lady Liberty went 3-0-0 on the weekend, outscoring their opponents 17-1. USA Hockey invited the team to participate in the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award ceremony. The girls met the finalists for top women's ice hockey player in NCAA D1, including winner Daryl Watts, a freshman from Boston College. The team also met O'Fallon, Missouri, native and IIIHF gold medalist Jincy Dunne from Ohio State. Congratulations for a great weekend of hockey and for being excellent ambassadors for Affton Hockey.
