For Affton Hockey Facilities

Upon arrival at an Affton Hockey rink, player and accompanying spectator will undergo a temperature check and will be asked to answer health screening questions. A completed Covid-19 waiver is required for entry.

Per St. Louis County ordinance of 8/21/20, all guests at any Affton Hockey rink age 5 and older are required to wear a face mask or shield.

Players experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms should not attend any team functions.

Most common symptoms include:

  • Fever
  • Dry cough
  • Tiredness

Less common symptoms include:

  • Aches and pains
  • Sore throat
  • Diarrhea
  • Conjunctivitis
  • Headache
  • Loss of taste or smell
  • Rash on skin or discoloration of fingers or toes

Serious symptoms:

  • Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath
  • Chest pain or pressure
  • Loss of speech or movement

Seek immediate medical attention if you have serious symptoms. Call before visiting your physician or health facility.

While away from the rink, each player is expected to follow all safety guidelines for social distancing, wear a mask while in public, and avoid gatherings that could put one at risk.

If a player is exposed to someone with Covid-19, he or she is to quarantine for 14 days from exposure date and may return to hockey on the 15th day. Quarantine is required even with a negative test.

It is important for the health and safety of all that everyone adheres to the safety guidelines. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in dismissal from the team.
